Fans of the notoriously violent and surreal comedy Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan can rejoice as a new OVA has been announced. This latest installment will expand upon the bizarre adventures of Sakura Kusakabe, the junior high student targeted by the angel Dokuro Mitsukai. The original Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, adapted from Masaki Takanashi's manga, followed Dokuro's attempts to "save" Sakura from a future where he prevents women from aging past 12. Her methods, however, typically involve extreme violence with her spiked bat, Excalibolg, and a healthy dose of ecchi humor. This new OVA follows the 2005 original series and the 2008 sequel OVA, Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan 2, both produced by HAL Film Maker and Nomad. Further details on the plot and release date for the new OVA are expected soon.
