A new entry in the Divergence Eve franchise, titled Misaki Chronicle: Divergence Eve, has been revealed. This sequel continues the story of the Seraphim Squadron, a group of young female cadets tasked with defending the WATCHER'S NEST outpost from the mysterious GHOUL forces in the 24th century.
The original 13-episode series aired in Summer 2003, produced by Radix, and focused on the cadets' training and their first encounters with the alien threat. Misaki Chronicle is expected to build upon the established sci-fi and mecha elements, further exploring the conflicts and character dynamics within the Seraphim Squadron.
