A live stage play adaptation of the Eden of the East anime is set to premiere in Tokyo in April and May of 2027. Further details regarding the production's creative team and cast have yet to be revealed.

The original Eden of the East anime, directed and written by Kenji Kamiyama, debuted in 2009 with an 11-episode television run. The series was produced by Production I.G, with original character designs by Chica Umino. The anime's narrative was continued through three feature films: Eden of the East: Air Communication, Eden of the East: The King of Eden, and Eden of the East: Paradise Lost, released between 2009 and 2010.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Eden of the East follows Akira Takizawa, a young man who awakens with amnesia and finds himself implicated in a national conspiracy involving a mysterious mobile phone and a substantial sum of money. The anime is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
