Writer Saji Komori and artist Kana Masaya, the creative duo behind the Shonen Jump+ series Existential Unplugged, are launching a new manga titled Hōkago Chrono Switch (After School Chrono Switch). The series is set to debut in the May issue of Akita Shoten's Mystery Bonita magazine on May 7.
The new manga will feature a 47-page opening chapter and include a color page to mark its debut. The story centers on two students, Takada and Yunomi, who find themselves unexpectedly transported back in time to the year 2006 during what appears to be an ordinary school day.
Komori and Masaya's previous collaboration, Existential Unplugged, began serialization on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in March 2024 and concluded in December 2024. The series was also available internationally in English through Shueisha's MANGA Plus service.
