Crunchyroll has added Food Wars! The Third Plate, the 2017 season of the popular culinary competition anime, to its streaming library. The series is available with both English dub and subtitle options.

This installment sees protagonist Souma Yukihira aiming to challenge the Elite Ten, the academy's ruling council, during the Moon Festival. The season escalates the stakes beyond individual matches, hinting at a larger conspiracy within the prestigious Tōtsuki Academy.

J.C.Staff, known for their work on Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma seasons one and two, as well as Toradora! and One-Punch Man season two, returns to animate the series. The show adapts Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's manga, which follows Souma's journey through a cutthroat culinary school.

Food Wars! The Third Plate, which concluded its 12-episode run in late 2017, holds a 7.97 rating on MyAnimeList from over 630,000 users. Its blend of intense cooking duels, over-the-top reactions, and shonen tropes has cemented its status as a standout in the gourmet anime genre.
