Arc System Works has dropped a starter guide video showcasing the upcoming DLC fighter Jam Kuradoberi for Guilty Gear -Strive-. The video details the character's unique playstyle ahead of her debut.
The 2.0 update, which includes Season 5, is set to launch this Thursday. Jam Kuradoberi and Robo-KY are slated as the first two DLC characters for Season 5, with both expected to arrive in the summer. The season pass will eventually feature two additional characters, planned for winter 2026 and spring 2027. Additionally, the new Blazing Pass season reward system will be implemented in May.
This major update promises significant battle changes, new mechanics, special moves, and UI skins. The accompanying short stories will also expand the game's narrative. Guilty Gear -Strive- originally released in June 2021 for PlayStation consoles and PC, later expanding to Xbox platforms and Game Pass in March 2023, with a Nintendo Switch version arriving in January 2025.
