The television anime adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kill Blue manga has launched with an English dub available on both Amazon Prime Video and Netflix from its premiere. The dub went live on the same day the first subtitled episode was released.
Bang Zoom! Studios confirmed its involvement in producing the English dub. The anime itself debuted on Japanese networks including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, and TV Aichi on April 11, with AT-X set to air it starting April 17. International streaming platforms in North America will include Netflix, Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime Video, Rakuten Viki, Plex, and the It's Anime YouTube channel.
Hiro Kaburagi is directing the series at studio CUE, with Miho Daidōji handling character designs. The opening theme, "ATTITUDE," is performed by South Korean group aespa, while RIIZE provides the ending theme, "KILL SHOT." This marks CUE's first main animation production credit; the studio was established in 2023 by DMM.
The Kill Blue manga, created by Fujimaki of Kuroko's Basketball fame, ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from April to September 2023. Viz Media is publishing the series in print and digitally, describing the story of hitman Juzo Ogami who awakens in a teenage body and must infiltrate a school to uncover why.
