Matoi the Sacred Slayer, a 2016 supernatural series from Studio White Fox, has arrived on Crunchyroll with both English dub and subtitle options. The 12-episode run is now available to stream in its entirety.
The series centers on Matoi Sumeragi, a high school student who stumbles into a battle against extra-dimensional beings known as Nights after inadvertently awakening the powers of a god. White Fox, known for their work on Steins;Gate and Re:Zero, produced the series.
While a sequel, Matoi the Sacred Slayer: Nights Busters Inc., exists, the original 12-episode run offers a complete supernatural action story focused on shrine maidens and divine powers.
