The series, produced by Yostar Pictures, the studio behind Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! and Blue Archive, will dive into the chaotic online life of OMG, a struggling VTuber and self-proclaimed "super-hacker" trying to win back her internet boyfriend. "Needy Girl Overdose" explores themes of otaku culture, internet dependency, and the often-unstable relationship between creators and their audience, all through the lens of its demanding female protagonist. Aniplex and Bit grooove promotion are handling production duties for the TV anime.
