Netflix has added The Ramparts of Ice, an upcoming 12-episode TV anime from Studio KAI, for streaming ahead of its Spring 2026 premiere. The series adapts the manga of the same name and centers on Koyuki Higawa, a socially awkward high schooler whose solitary existence is disrupted by the outgoing Minato Amamiya.
With a 7.64 MAL score based on over 2,000 voters, the show explores the intertwined romantic lives of Koyuki, Minato, the popular Miki, and the easygoing Youta. Studio KAI, known for their work on Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and The 8th Son? Are You Kidding Me?, will handle animation.
