When his father uses his son's cat's brain to create the android Atsuko "Nuku Nuku" Natsume, Ryuunosuke finds himself caught between his parents' conflicting ambitions for the technology—his mother aiming to weaponize it while his father seeks to protect it. This side story format suggests a departure from the direct narrative of the original manga adaptation, potentially exploring different characters or scenarios within the "Nuku Nuku" universe without directly continuing the main plot. The original OVA series, also produced by Studio Fantasia, ran for six episodes and adapted the manga source material.
