Paru Itagaki announced via X/Twitter that her manga Witching Hour (Ushimitsu Gao) is set to conclude in its next chapter, scheduled for release on May 13. The series, which explores a woman's affair with a ghost, has been serialized on Akita Publishing's Champion Cross platform since October 2024.

Viz Media has licensed Witching Hour for English release. The publisher describes the story as centering on Megumi, whose routine marriage leads her to an irresistible, otherworldly lover, risking exposure of her ghostly affair.

The manga's second compiled volume was released in Japan on December 8. Itagaki is also the creator of BEASTARS and SANDA, both of which have received anime adaptations. The BEASTARS anime debuted in 2019, with its final season premiering in March 2024, while the SANDA anime premiered in October 2024.
