Netflix has released the CGI samurai action series "Onimusha," featuring Miyamoto Musashi modeled after Toshiro Mifune. The 8-episode series, available with English dub and subtitles, plunges Musashi into a land ravaged by poverty and demons, where his blade is the only hope.
Produced by the team behind the Resident Evil CGI films, the series promises realistic swordplay and a dark historical fantasy setting. This marks a significant expansion for the Onimusha franchise, which originated with the popular Capcom video game series.
"Onimusha" is now available to stream in its entirety on Netflix.
